The cave / crypt was a custom piece I built for a D&D game I play in. The entryway, stairs, and crypt were built using molds from HirstArts. The entryway arch is from the tomb mold; the stairs are from the prison tower mold; the railings for the stairs come from the bridge mold. The crypt is actually the gothic church with a few modifications: it has a floor and uses the lead roof tiles from the tomb mold. The figures are all Reaper miniatures. The cave was built using foam insulation board (available at your local hardware store). Using a hot-wire cutter the foam is cut into rock-like shapes. After that, flex paste (to cover the seams between layers of the foam) and foam putty to fill the gaps between the blockwork and the rocks (both from Woodland Scenics) are applied. After everything is dry, I primed all of the stone w/ black primer and did two passes of drybrushing on the stone -- first with a medium gray and second with that same medium gray lightened up a great deal with white.
