10/17 - Added my first large scale resin piece, Criora Qvaesitor Sahjagis an incredibly cool sculpt from JJ Models in Italy. I’ve never painted anything this large before (she’s 10” tall) and learned a great deal about subtle shading to make things look right. I sculpted the base from epoxy putty and used Woodland Scenics Water Effects for the waterfall. I also spent a lot of time working on my freehand and am pretty pleased with how the banner worked out. I hope you like her.

08/19 A ridiculously long time since the last update ... sorry, I’m a slug. Tons and tons of new things ... not even sure I’ll remember to link them all, but here goes:

Several new dioramas that I entered in the LA Golden Demons ... The Last Act of Gandalf the Grey and Haldir’s Elves at Helms Deep. Also, the only thing that made first cut at LA (and made it into WD 284 I’m told), my converted Ephrael Stern ... Defender of the Faithful Departed. A new Warhammer Necromancer ... some Reaper Vampires I did for my game. Also, a bunch of stuff that I’ve put up on CMON (page1, page2) that I haven’t had a chance to put into categories on my web page ... I apologize for the randomness of these pages, but I just use them for links to CMON, and some I’ve never ended up showing there. So, this may be the first time anyone has seen them.

02/09 A ridiculously long time since the last update ... sorry, I’m a slug. Tons and tons of new things ... not even sure I’ll remember to link them all, but here goes:

A new vignette in the Dioramas section entitled The Fall of Sauron. I did this for some friends who are huge LOTR fans this past Christmas. A new building / scenic base that won me 2nd place in the scenic base category of the last Chick Challenge, Myra Temple Guardian. A bunch of new PC figs for our DnD game are littered all over the place, the Reaper Mages and Thieves section are good places to see some ... also check out the Ral Partha section for a few more. Finally, a few new Confrontation figs in the Lions section and in the Griffons. There’s a lot more stuff either in the works or things that I just haven’t had a chance to take good pictures of. I’ll try to get some more things up before the month is out.

12/03 - Waiting for some paint to dry on a large commission, I decided to start messing with another large resin piece. This time it’s Silene (a Japanese anime character). Another huge learning experience with lots of skin and this time feathers. I built the base using HirstArts molds and used a clear resin, slighly tinted to make the “glass” blocks in the base. I hope you like her. BTW, expect to see a cool pack of Confrontation Devourers in my next update which should occur before the holidays.

What’s New?
